The Ambusher is a level 3 tower; it fires powerful plasma shells similar to the Guardian's with higher accuracy albeit at a shorter range. When idle it retreats inside its protective cover which enables it to withstand six times the damage it can take while exposed - this makes it useful against natural hazards or plasma cannon bombardment. Its CORE counterpart is the Toaster.
