The Fusion Power Plant is a CORE level 3 structure; it takes much metal, energy and time to build, but when operational provides enormous energy for the player. Because of its high value however, it tends to be one of the most favored targets for enemy focus fire or nuclear strikes. When destroyed it also causes a large explosion that may likely kill other units nearby. The Fusion Power Plant produces 1050 energy, 50 more than its ARM counterpart, the Fusion Reactor.
