The Light Laser Tower is a level 1 tower that provides the basics of base defence; it has a very high firing rate and accuracy and when built in numbers (which can be done easily considering its low costs) can repel early assaults by level 1 units. It drains a fair amount of the player's early-game energy stock though, and gets obsolete quickly. Its ARM counterpart is the L.L.T.

The Light Laser Tower, along with the Shipyard, are the only units that can be built by all CORE level 1 construction units.
