Planetary Annihilation is an upcoming real-time strategy game being developed by Uber Entertainment. As hinted by its name, Planetary Annihilation is what Uber believe will be the "true" spiritual successor to the 1997 RTS Total Annihilation. It is unknown if the iconic factions from TA will be present in this game.
Nothing is certain about the game as of yet, but Uber have released a CGI-animated trailer showing a gameplay visualization, as well as interviews with some of the development team.[1] Although the initial goal of $900,000 had been surpassed,[2] pledges still kept coming through right up until the funding deadline on the 14th September.
