The Scarab is a level 3 walking vehicle that provides protection from nuclear missiles; the unit functions in the same way as the Protector with the added bonus of being able to move from place to place thus preventing the need to build Protectors all over the battlefield. The Scarab is one of the six downloadable units that were released after patch 3.1, with its CORE counterpart being the Hedgehog.
