The Vulcan is a level 3 tactical siege tower that fires Big Bertha shells at less range and a much higher rate. Though it is fairly inaccurate, the high rate of fire still makes it very deadly and capable of reducing whole bases to rubble within minutes. It consumes huge amounts of energy though, and can easily exhaust the player's energy stock if production is insufficient: sustained firing requires eleven Fusion Reactors per Vulcan. It also has an extremely long build time and thus is very susceptible to interruption. Its CORE counterpart is the Buzzsaw, which fires slower, but in return is more accurate and has a slightly larger range.
